Meg does posts to her Husband-to-Be.
I love this concept.
I love thinking about the lucky man I'm going to marry.
RE: Proposing
Dear Mister-In-Due-Time:
Do it when I'm in sweatpants.
Not in the cute outfit I'll hold onto forever...
But in the relaxing comfort of my pajamas--comfortable like our love, our friendship, our bond.
Just the two of us.
Do it when I'm happy.
So I know it wasn't pity that inspired your call to action.
Do it when it's sunny and we're happy and we're smiling.
Do it in the middle of the afternoon.
On a lunchbreak.
As a little shocking moment we can celebrate and then relive later that day.
Do it on a sidewalk.
Or under a umbrella.
Or at our favorite lunch spot--when it's nearly empty.
Or when we're dancing in the kitchen [which you must do with me].
Do it in the pouring rain when we're running home from errands--just the mundanities of life that will continue when we're married.
Do it because you love me and you want to see me first thing every morning for the rest of...forever.
Do it when we're eating popcorn watching our favorite movie for the thirtieth time.
Do it in a quiet moment.
Just please, find me, and do it soon.
Love,
Your [Rock Awesome Hottie] Wife.
I was laughing SO hard through your ENTIRE post... because I thought when you said "Do it" you meant... well... DO IT. haha oh my dirty mind. but in my defense, if you read it that way it does make perfect sense :) too cute. You'll find him when the time is right, S. and you know what? he may just be as awesome as you!!

ReplyDeleteI really like your layout. The pictures add a lot. I also like this post. It's an interesting idea. If your husband to be doesn't do those things, will you still marry him? How is your job, by the way? Keep up the great posts!
