So I'm watching Elf...and listening to the rain outside and contemplating my list for Santa.
Draft 1:
Dear Santa,
I'd like that one boy to finally ask me out.
I'd like a better work shift.
I'd like that one boy to finally ask me out.
And for my my family to be able to visit.
Oh, and I'd like that one boy to finally ask me out.
Love,
Siovhan
Draft 2:
Dear Santa,I'd like that one boy to finally ask me out.
I'd like a better work shift.
I'd like a better salary.
I'd like a new car.I'd like that one boy to finally ask me out.
I'd also like mad dance skills like those on So You Think You Can Dance.
And for my my family to be able to visit. And for that one boy to ask me out.
Oh, and for BYU to somehow get to a BCS bowl.
Love, Siovhan p.s. I'll give you extra cookies for the last one. *wink*wink*...*nudge*nudge.*
Draft 3:
Dear Santa,
Zac Efron.
That's all.
Love,
Siovhan
Draft 4:
World Peace?
Draft 6:I love this jewelry.
(click on it to visit the site)
But I could never spend this much on something so temporary.(It's my secret goal in life to find a sand dollar...I found half of one when my Dad came.)
Love,
Siovhan
Draft 7:
Dear Santa,
I'd like a healthy family.
I'd like my siblings to get what they want for Christmas.
I'd like the books Eat Pray Love and Letters to My Daughter.
I haven't really decided exactly what I want.
Maybe a Swiffer?
I'm not really sure.
I do love this Nativity Scene.
I love this phone.
I like this BYU pride.
But I really just don't know.
I'll get back to you soon.
Until then...continue the jolliness...and I'll continue with the delightful Christmas music.
Love,
Siovhan
p.s. I really would like for that boy to finally ask me out. =] pretty, please?
Love the writing. Love the images you paint in my brain. Love the jewelry, love the phone (not happening without an upgrade, says Santa), love the nativity scene. Thank you for your thoughts.
ReplyDeleteLove forever,
Mom
Maybe you should go back to asking Heavenly Father for that wonderful, marvelous, talented, intelligent, handsome, wealthy (did I mention handsome?) boy to ask you out. I love Santa as much as, or more than, the next person--I've been a loyal fan for 67 years--but he never did much for me in the boy department. Love you, Grammy
